next day delivery and good communication around that. had to pay £30 for disconnecting old machine, which takes a moment despite membership so maybe that could change as it does not feel quite right – you are taking it away for recycling anyway.

**Updated Review** 23/02/2026
I had a stressful experience with an Lifestyle Home Appliances delivery that was meant to arrive in time for a landmark birthday and was needed urgently for both leisure and exam preparation. I paid for next‑day delivery, but the DPD driver falsely marked my address as “no one home” and uploaded a photo of my road that clearly wasn’t taken on the day in question.
The weather in the photo was sunny, but the actual day was grey and overcast. I later realised the photo was identical to the one used for a failed another retailer collection just 9 days earlier — by the same driver.
I contacted both Lifestyle Home Appliances and another retailer immediately after receiving the failed delivery/collection texts. another retailer had already contacted their tech department, authorised their collection, and tracked the driver in real time.
I shared this with Lifestyle Home Appliances and suggested they follow the same approach. Lifestyle Home Appliances attempted to do this, but the driver still didn’t return, which was extremely upsetting given the urgency of the situation.
After hours of trying to resolve the issue — including emailing Lifestyle Home Appliances senior management late into the night — I turned to social media as a last resort.
The difference was immediate.
Chris from the Customer Service Escalation Desk contacted me the same day, acknowledged the issue, refunded the free delivery, arranged the next available delivery, and offered a goodwill gesture. I suggested it could go towards “Steam credits” for the teenager’s birthday; while that wasn’t possible, Chris made it clear the gesture could still be used to treat them.
He was professional, understanding, and genuinely tried to put things right.
Although the experience began poorly, Lifestyle Home Appliances’s escalation team handled the situation quickly and responsibly once they became aware. Their follow‑through made a difficult situation much easier to manage.
ORIGINAL REVIEW-
Date of Experience:20/02/2026
I am writing this as an Lifestyle Home Appliances Five Star Member, regarding a catastrophic service failure and evidence of courier fraud.
Yesterday, Friday 20th Feb, was my child’s 16th birthday.
Despite paying for the “Next Day” benefit, the delivery was falsified.
At 15:50, DPD claimed a failed attempt. I was home; no one arrived.
The Evidence of Fraud:
GPS Tracking: DPD have since confirmed via their internal GPS that the driver was never in my vicinity.
Falsified Photo: The “failed delivery” photo uploaded by the driver shows a bright, sunny day. Yesterday in my area was rainy and overcast.
Ghost Logs: DPD logs show a delivery attempt was made on the day I actually placed the order—a physical impossibility.
Lifestyle Home Appliances’s Failure:
I spent hours on the phone with Lifestyle Home Appliances agents who repeatedly told me to ignore the “Monday” tracking status and insisted it would arrive yesterday.
This was MISINFORMATION.
I have now been told “no managers are available” to fix this.
The parcel is currently sitting at the DPD Southwark Hub.
DPD have confirmed they can deliver TODAY (Saturday), but ONLY if Lifestyle Home Appliances manually authorises and pays for the SATURDAY service upgrade.
As a Five Star Member, I expect Lifestyle Home Appliances to rectify their courier’s fraud immediately.
If this is not delivered today, the order is cancelled under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 as the “essential time” for delivery has passed.
