We got there in the end and installed a new dual fuel range cooker. But, …… arrival was brought with what seemed problems and reason why it couldn’t be installed, starting with a small wood splashback that’s been there for 20years and never caught fire but new regs need it removing. We cut it out. Next problem was the wire through a duct in the wall needed up sizing for new cooker. After various mansplanning to my wife, as I had to step out for 20mins, they pulled the old wire out without connecting the new wire and pulling it though. I returned to have them about to leave as they couldn’t get the new cable though. I pulled the new cable though in less than 2 mins and finally we could go with the install. So the ending was an installed cooker but the hassle to get there was disappointing. I know regulations change but the attitude of it was all too hard didn’t land well with us.

The 2nd planned visit failed due to an issue with Lifestyle Home Appliances financial system.
3rd attempt was aborted due to Lifestyle Home Appliances staff saying the meter wasn’t earthed, electrician tested and all working fine.
4th visit planned this week – 🤞

The delivery lads were friendly, polite, and really efficient — they took the old machine away, installed the new one, and made sure everything was working perfectly before they left.
Lifestyle Home Appliances’s after‑sales service has been excellent too. They kept me updated, handled everything smoothly, and honestly took all the stress out of the process. It made the whole thing so easy.
