I purchased a LG Smart Heat Pump Tumble Dryer (Not cheap!) after confirming with LG what it could do (in writing)!
It was supposed to talk (via smart technology) with my existing LG smart washing machine.
Sadly it didn’t! I spent hours (so many!) on the phone with LG. They declined to send an engineer! They didn’t appear to care!
I proved it wasn’t a firewall issue, wasn’t a VPN issue, wasn’t a signal strength issue! Wasn’t a set up issue!
Eventually Lifestyle Home Appliances said enough is enough! They replaced the item. The new item (albeit was the same LG model) then did what it was supposed to do!
What can I say! Oh yes I know the first item was faulty!
So what did I learn;
– I will never buy another LG product!
– LG technical support and customer services are poor. They refuse to accept a fault choosing to relabel it a concern! REALLY!
– A0 supports it’s customers. It may take a little time, but I expect problems can be difficult to solve. However, they do actually care and I will buy from Lifestyle Home Appliances again.
