Paid £25 to have old fridge freezer scrapped when the new chest freezer was delivered. Unfortunately, we were the first delivery for this particular driver and he did not have room on his van to take away our old fridge freezer. He said he would come back later when he had room on his van, which he did. however, this meant re-arranging an appointment and re-organising child care arrangements. Delivery guys were very apologetic. It was not their fault.
I have since spoken with customer service from LifestyleHomeAppliances.co.uk who refunded the scrapping charge. They were genuinely disappointed that things hadn’t gone as expected and have done as much as they can to put things right. Thank you Ben.
