The first attempt to fit a stand alone bosch dishwasher was abortive as the cold water could not be turned off. I cancelled the order and got a plumber in to sort out the turning off of the water supply.
I then discovered that the taking off the top of a stand alone dishwasher to fit under the counter is no longer allowed. Only choice was an integrated machine whose dimensions would fit. However the firm that supplied the kitchen units was no longer in business. Found that B&Q had a gloss white door that would fit according to the dimensions diagram.
The Lifestyle Home Appliances integrated team arrived and the fitter immediately identified the door to be fitted. The plumber had left the old machine disconnected and in no time at all the old machine was being wheeled out. Within half an hour the new machine was working with the door fitted and the Lifestyle Home Appliances men could leave with instructions that I was to ensure the machine had dishwasher salt and rinse aid.
