An issue in relation to the fitting of my washing machine was quickly resolved when the fitter called Lifestyle Home Appliances directly. I had a chance to speak to Lifestyle Home Appliances, where they refunded the connection cost. However, the fitter had second thoughts and was able to connect the machine after all. At least I do now have a working washing machine, within 24 hours of ordering it online!
